Infiltration of Botulin Toxin

The botulin toxin, commonly designated as “botox”, is a substance which if correctly used has a spectacular effect on the treatment of expression wrinkles.

When injected into the muscle, this toxin causes a temporary relaxation of the muscle which blocks the appearance of wrinkles, such as crows’ feet, forehead wrinkles and wrinkles between the eyebrows. Lately we have also used the botulin toxin to treat certain types of migraine and the excess sweating in hand and armpits.

This technique does not require any type of anaesthesia and the results of the treatment may be seen 48 hours after the infiltration.
